About our English practical courses

With our practical English group courses you’ll speak English from the very first class, practising in small groups alongside students at a similar level. Whether you want to build confidence for daily life, express yourself more fluently, or communicate with precision at work, there’s a practical course designed for exactly where you are.

Layout of the English practical group courses

CEFR levels A0 up to C1 suitable for English general courses — From beginner to Advanced
Our practical English group courses cover the CEFR levels from the A0 level up to the C1 level.

English For all levels

Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, we offer English practical courses for every level. From A0 up to C1. Our levels are based on the CEFR, the European standard. Therefore, the levels are internationally recognised. Learn more about the CEFR levels on this page.

Rather than focusing only on theory, you will actively use English in every class, building confidence, fluency, and accuracy step by step.

At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate of participation.

Goal: learn the first essential words and phrases so you can introduce yourself, talk about your day-to-day life, and handle simple everyday situations in English.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took private Spanish classes with Denisse and I loved every minute of it. My fluency improved a lot, and I made great progress with my grammar too.
Besides building my Spanish skills, I also learned about Peruvian culture and discovered some great Spanish music along the way, which made the lessons so much more than just language practice.

Denisse is a patient and skilled teacher, and her enthusiasm and seemingly unlimited energy meant I was looking forward to every class. If you’re looking for a teacher who makes learning both effective and fun, I can’t recommend her enough!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took Dutch lessons here and the teachers were wonderful: attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in your progress. I still come back for their language exchange events at Pacific in Amsterdam, and they're always well organized and welcoming. It's a safe, relaxed environment where you meet students and all kinds of interesting expats, which makes practicing a lot more fun than it sounds.

I especially recommend the conversational mini courses, which are a great way to build confidence speaking. Highly recommended for anyone learning Dutch in Amsterdam!

He is an excellent teacher: patient, encouraging, positive,  supportive and has a great sense of humour, which is quite important when you are a teacher.
It is quite clear that he has had a lot of relevant teaching experience and that he cares and takes ownership of his role.

Semi-intensive English practical courses

Our semi-intensive general English courses are given throughout the year, every 8 weeks more or less. Lessons are given twice per week (2 hour per lesson). The courses take 6 weeks, with 24 hours in total.

The practical English courses are given at our location in Amsterdam.
