Hi there!

I’m Oscar! I am born and raised in the Netherlands and during my university years in Amsterdam I studied history, journalism, and creative writing. While I once thought I’d build a career in journalism, I soon realized my true passion was teaching. I first discovered my love for teaching while helping international students learn Dutch, and I’ve enjoyed guiding people through their language journey ever since.

As a language learner myself (currently working on my French!), I know how exciting and sometimes tricky it can be to pick up a new language. I try to bring that perspective into my classes, creating a supportive and safe environment where everyone feel free to learn and make mistakes.

Outside of teaching, I love music production, history, writing, and bouldering. I look forward to meeting you and helping you improve your Dutch!
