Hi there! I’m Ella, a born and raised Amsterdammer teaching Dutch at the Language Corner.

Although I have been teaching for some years now, teaching a language is something I’ve picked up more recently. To connect with others through language and teach them how to navigate daily life in the Netherlands with more confidence is something I get an immense sense of satisfaction from. I absolutely love to see the progress.

I love going to the gym, travelling and all things nerdy, from getting sucked into a specific topic, to playing Dungeons and Dragons on the weekend with my friends, and many things in between. When I get the chance to, I will incorporate your favourite topics into class to make learning more fun!

Whatever level you’re at, whether you’re just starting or looking to enhance the foundation you already have, I would love to welcome you with open arms. And especially if you struggle to learn, we can tackle the language step by step while building up your confidence to speak in the meantime. Hope to see you in class!
