I had a wonderful experience at Language Corner. Katie, the teacher, is excellent: professional, friendly, and very attentive to students’ needs. The lessons are engaging, interactive, and well structured, which makes learning English both effective and enjoyable. I also really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the opportunity to meet students from different countries. Everyone at the school is kind and helpful, creating a very positive environment for learning and speaking English with confidence. The classes with teacher Roxy are excellent! She is very clear, attentive, patient, and extremely professional. She explains everything in an easy-to-understand way and makes learning enjoyable and engaging. Without a doubt, she is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. I am happy to share my experience as student at Language Corner with anyone who is aiming to boost their Dutch language skills. I had 1:1 classes and I highly recommend my teacher Joshua: after an assessment of my level of Dutch, Joshua has actively listened and understood my goals. Joshua has been able to tailor and customize lessons specifically on my needs. I appreciated Joshua’s competence, empathy, patience and care throughout all lessons. The study material, the grammar references, the exercises, the corrections on mistakes and the feedback on area of improvements are some of the features that made this course among the best I have ever had. Thanks to Joshua supporting approach I won my initial lack of confidence and embarrassment on kicking off a conversation in Dutch. In addition, the whole team at Language Corner has been friendly and positive when checking in for the lessons and when interacting at the student evening meetings to practice Dutch. Yes, Language Corner is organizing regular students “meet & fun & practice” evening together with Dutch native speakers. What a great idea to learn while sharing a drink and some fun time with people from all over the world! Moreover, I enjoyed as well the venue where the lessons took place: Language Corner is located not far from beautiful Westerpark, classrooms are well designed and equipped with projectors. Bedankt, Joshua! Je bent top docent! Dankzij onze lessen voel ik me nu zelfverzekerd genoeg om Nederlands te spreken en ben ik gemotiveerd om mijn Nederlands verder te blijven oefenen en te verbeteren. I really enjoyed my B2 class with Martin who was a great teacher. Having struggled in bigger classes, it made a difference for me learning together in a small class as it provided more opportunity to speak and get feedback. Now I feel confident speaking Dutch in everyday life :)

I had private Dutch lessons with Ella Smith for about 6 months and I had a great time with her. She's fun, easy going and really helps with learning specific things from the Dutch culture that you wouldn't have a chance to learn otherwise. I really enjoyed my lessons with her.
