If you are not living in Amsterdam or rather would like to take an English group course from home, our online English courses are ideal for you!

Small groups, personal approach

Lessons are given through live online sessions with a maximum of 8 students. This way the online English courses still have the feel of a cozy environment and can be given in an interactive way. Our online English courses are always given by native English teachers with very user-friendly online software.

General courses and conversation courses

Below you can see the English online courses we are currently offering. You can choose between a general group courses, which covers all the aspects of the language, or a conversation course, which only focuses on the speaking aspect.

Online English lessons (1-on-1)

With the 1-on-1 online English lessons you can choose your own pace and intensity. You will have the full attention of the teacher, which makes it possible to make more progress in a shorter period if you compare it with group courses.

Adjust the lessons the way you want

Our online English lessons are the best way to get you on the English level you are striving for. Lessons are highly interactive and are focusing on the teaching methods that fits you best. This way you will advance much quicker and you can adjust the lessons the way you want!

Focus on particular aspects

You can for example focus on professional (Business) English, job applications or on improving your English writing or speaking skills. It’s also possible to specifically prepare you for international exams like the FCE, CAE or IELTS. Find here more about the different international exams.

The prices below are based on English lessons for one individual, but it’s also possible to take online English lessons with 2 or more people. Lessons are taken through live online sessions with a native English teacher.

Online English lessons with 2 or more people

You can also take the online English lessons with your partner, a friend or colleague(s) and save on the price per person. These are the additional prices on top of the price per hour of the selected package:

  1. How can I register for the private lessons?
    Go to the registration form to register for the private lessons. After the registration, we will select a teacher for you based on your availability, goals and level. Once we have selected a teacher, we will send you a proposal for the starting date and lesson schedule. This process can take up to 5 working days.
  2. When can I start?
    You can choose your own starting date. Take into account at least 5 working days to arrange everything.
  3. I want to take lessons with another person, how do we register?
    Easy! On the registration form you can add additional participants. If you would like to receive separate invoices, please let us know in the comments field in the registration form.

  1. Can I prepare for an exam with the private lessons?
    Yes this is possible. Our teachers have experience with preparing for specific exams. However, you would need to have the overall level of the exam already in this case. If you don’t have the level yet, it’s needed to take a group course or general private lessons first to reach the desired level.
  2. Are the teachers native speakers?
    All our teachers are native speakers or manage the language like their mother tongue language.
  3. Can I try out a lesson?
    With the packages Regular, Semi-Intensive and Intensive Custom you will have one (paid) trial lesson. After this first lesson you can still decide to stop with the lessons. If you decide not to continue, you will only pay for this first lesson. With the Flexible package it’s not possible to try out a lesson.
  4. Can I switch teacher when I’m not satisfied?
    Yes, of course! We find it very important that there’s a good connection between the student and the teacher. If you don’t have a connection with the assigned teacher, we can assign you another teacher.
  5. Do I need books for the private lessons?
    This depends on your package and your purpose. The teacher will let you know after the first lesson whether it’s better to work with a book. He or she can tell you how to get the book as well.
  6. What is the minimum age for the private lessons?
    Private lessons can be given from 5 years old. We have some teachers who are specialised in working with children and the lessons will to be adapted to the age of the student.
  7. Do I get a certificate after finishing the private lessons?
    It’s possible to send you a digital certificate of participation after finishing the private lessons. This certificate states the total amount of hours and the level covered. Just let us know when you need a certificate.

  1. When do the evening classes officially start? 
    We charge € 5,00 per hour extra for lessons which end after 18:00 hr.
  2. I will go on holiday. Can I pause my lessons?
    If you let us know at least one month in advance, it’s possible to pause the lessons for a maximum of 4 weeks.
  3. Can I change my lesson schedule?
    It’s possible to change your lesson schedule once free of charge. If you would like to change it again, you will be charged € 50,00 for every change.
  4. Can I take private lessons for a period longer than 12 weeks?
    Yes, of course. In the registration form you can select the total amount of hours you would like to take. It’s possible to select more hours than the original total of the package.

Payment

  1. When do I have to pay?
    With all the packages you will have to pay in advance, before the start of the first lesson. We will send you an invoice, which can be paid by bank transfer, iDEAL, Apple Pay or credit card. It’s also possible to pay in cash at our location.
  2. Can I pay in parts (instalments)?
    With the packages Regular and Semi-Intensive you have the possibility to pay in monthly instalments. You can let us know in the registration form, whether you would like to pay in instalments.
  3. Can the invoice be sent to my company?
    Yes sure! Just provide us all the details which should be stated on the invoice and we will send the invoice to your company.
